Vikki, as she is affectionately known to her family was born in Brooklyn, New York . She was the second of three children born to Maria and Cleveland Salley.

After high school Vikki attended college at North Carolina A&T. At the time she was enrolled in A&T she had first cousins, she grew up with in Brooklyn attending college at Johnson C. Smith and Livingstone. Staying in touch and visiting these cousins Vikki began to acquire a love of the state and its people and lifestyle.

Vikki returned to New York and started working in the garment industry as Data Processing Manager. Not as satisfying as she had hoped she left that field and turned to the automobile industry. She has spent the better part of 15 years in that industry in various capacities, beginning in sales and becoming top sales person,then promoted to lease manager and finally business manager, this position is the heart and soul of any dealership. In recognition of outstanding performance and commitment to excellence, Victoria recieved the "Platinum Managers of Distiction Award in 2003 & 2004. The love for her children and knowledge of the automobile industry inspired her to find a vehicle in which she would be able to own her own business and work with her children.

Last year August of 2006, Vikki returned to North Carolina with her children in tow and opened a franchise business. Meineke Car Care located at 2206 N. Roxboro St, Durham. Meineke offers a wide variety of services for your vehicle and also provides a clean and safe place for women and children. When you walk through the door you are welcomed with a smile and a large spacious showroom with free wireless internet and hot coffee. Vikki is determined to make a difference in this field as far as women are concerned. 'As women too many of us are not aware of what is under the hood. We need be able to walk in and feel comfortable that a competent technician is going to find and fix the problem'.
